Emily Stowe - Canadian Encyclopedia Dr. Emily Stowe - First woman in Canada to graduate with a medical degree, Ontario's first publicly practising female physician and Ontario's first female school principal. Emily Stowe was physician to Ann Maria Wellings and assisted with the birth of 5 of her children.
Louis Mountbatten, 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma : commanding officer to Gault Strange who was Mountbatten's Batman (AKA bodyguard) and a Sargent in The Royal Marines, Special Boat Service (AKA SBS - think US Navy Seals) during WWII.
Viscount Harberton ; a title held by the Pomeroys of Carbery, County Kildare, Republic of Ireland. There is DNA evidence that indicates the Harbertons are distant cousins with a shared ancestor in the 18th century. While they may be relatives, we shouldn't expect a dinner invitation anytime soon.
